I’m a (lisp) hacker.

I work at Axle (1st engineer/employee), where I’ve been working on taking the company from 0 to 1. Our first product is a Universal API for +40 Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), which captures trucking data like engine hours, miles driven, fuel data, and location data. I built the Orchestration Infrastructure from scratch, which has become the de-facto solution for fuel card companies including AtoB. To date, we have more than 60,000 vehicles on our platform and we’ve collected over 1 billion location data points. Our second product is Beacon, a browser extension that helps freight brokers increase their sales and operation team’s capacity by 30-40% going through emails 10x faster saving time, and booking more loads. We power some of the biggest players including NFI.

During my time at Nourish (YC W21; 1st engineer), I scaled the Simple Practice EMR to automate the patient journey. This included leveraging technologies like Kafka and Puppeteer to streamline patient creation, communication, and appointment scheduling since they don’t have an API. I also led our infrastructure migration from Heroku to AWS.

Prior to Nourish, I worked on the Video Platform team at Alarm.com where I contributed to their IoT offerings. I integrated new video cameras onto Alarm.com’s platform. I also rewrote the camera image settings page, which is used by over 5 million customers, migrating it from ASP.Net to Ember.js.

Before that, I studied Computer Science at the University of Virginia.
